Écho Run is a free game supported by advertising. This page explains which data the game uses, why, who it is shared with and how you can change your choices at any time.

Progress stays on your phone

Your progress is saved on your phone, not on our servers.

Your choice of personalized ads

Personalized ads are only shown with your consent.

Optional gameplay statistics

Gameplay statistics are sent only with your consent, without your name or email.

1. Who we are

Écho Run is a Piano One game published by Mobitra, a sole proprietorship based in Nantes, France (SIRET 909 480 188 00012). Mobitra is the controller of your personal data. Questions: hello@piano-one.com.

2. Data used by the game

Your progress and settings

Completed stages, stars, chests, collection, bonuses, coins, gems and settings (note names, keyboard sound, vibration) are stored only on your phone. We cannot access them. They disappear if you uninstall the game or choose “Start over” in Settings.

Google Play Games

On Android, Google Play Games may automatically sign you in with your player profile. Google uses your player identity, such as your nickname and avatar, as well as diagnostic and usage data to operate and improve its services. You can manage your profile and delete a game's data in Google Play Games settings. This connection does not back up your Écho Run progress to another device. Learn more: manage Google Play Games data.

Advertising

Écho Run's ads are provided by Google: an occasional ad between games and videos you can choose to watch for a bonus or to speed up a chest. To display ads, Google uses your device's advertising identifier, IP address, model and operating system version, and information about ads viewed or tapped.

  • With your consent, Google may use this data to show ads tailored to your interests.
  • Without your consent, ads are not personalized. Google then uses limited data to display and count ads, limit repetition and prevent fraud.

You are offered this choice when you first launch the game. You can change it at any time in Settings. You can also reset or delete the advertising identifier in your phone's Google settings. More information: how Google uses data.

The “No ads” purchase removes ads from the game. Reward-video bonuses then remain available without watching an ad.

Optional gameplay statistics

If you accept “Help improve Écho”, the game sends us information about your games to identify difficulty issues and improve the experience: stages played, scores, patterns found, notes placed, time spent in the rehearsal, bonuses used, ads viewed and in-game purchases.

  • This information is associated with a random number specific to this installation. It does not identify you.
  • We receive neither your name, email, advertising identifier nor location, nor anything you might type.
  • Before storage, the data is cleaned: device information is removed and your IP address is not kept. It is neither sold nor shared with advertisers.
  • If you decline or change your mind in Settings, sending stops and the number is deleted from your phone.

Your purchases

Purchases (“No ads”, gems, coins and the starter pack) go through Google Play. We never see your payment card or Google account. To validate purchases and restore them on a new phone, a specialist provider receives the receipt and a random identifier, without your name.

Your messages

If you contact us, we use your email address and message only to reply.

4. Who data is shared with

We never sell your data. A few providers are involved:

  • Google: Google Play Games sign-in, advertising and Google Play payments. For advertising, Google follows its own policies and may work with advertising partners, with your consent when required.
  • Purchase management: a provider validates and restores your purchases.
  • Hosting and security: providers host our servers and protect communications between the game and those servers.

Some providers may process data outside the European Union, including in the United States. These transfers are covered by GDPR safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Retention

  • Progress and settings remain on your phone until you uninstall the game or start over.
  • Gameplay statistics are kept for a maximum of 13 months.
  • Purchase information is kept as needed to restore purchases and meet accounting obligations.
  • Your messages are kept for a maximum of 24 months.
  • Google retains Play Games and advertising data under its own policies.

6. Younger players

Écho Run is intended for a general audience. If you are under 15, ask a parent before accepting personalized ads or gameplay statistics. Without consent, the game works normally.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion or portability of your data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. Since we do not know who you are, the easiest option is often to act in the game: change your choices in Settings or start over.

For any request, write to hello@piano-one.com. We reply within 30 days. If you believe your rights are not respected, you may complain to the French data protection authority, CNIL.

9. Changes

If the game changes how it uses data, we update this page and the date above. The game will notify you of significant changes.
